It depends on what you need it for! If you need to draw water into your pump from a well, ditch, or other external source, a suction hose is the right choice. If you need to drain or transport water away, then a discharge hose is the best option.

How do I properly secure a hose connection?

A hose socket helps connect your hose to your pump, but to keep everything secure, you’ll also need a hose clamp. To do so, simply tighten the clamp around the hose connection using a flat screwdriver for a firm hold. For an airtight seal, apply Teflon tape to the threaded connections before tightening — and that’s it! A secure hose connection with no leaks and no future worries.

Do Tallas accessories come with everything I need for installation?

Most of our accessories are designed for easy installation, but some do require additional parts. For example, our hose socket should always be paired with a hose clamp to ensure a solid and reliable connection.

Are Tallas accessories universal or only for Tallas pumps?
